About Spanky's Burgers
Spanky's burgers, establish in 2001 is a locally family owned restaurant. We are not a fast food restaurant, so if you are in the mood for a good old fashioned, delicious hand-packed juicy burger, you are in the right place. We specialize in home cooked meals where produce, meats and sea food are purchased locally. All of our meals are prepared with our own special recipes and all of our meal are cooked to order. We may not be off the expressway, but we know the drive down to historical Palm Blvd will be worth it. We are in the heart of Brownsville, Tx. Ronnie & Sandra Saenz Owners

We were in town for a couple days for my child's birthday and decided to go to the zoo. After we were starting and found this spot. I ordered my food and went and sat outside. The burger looked good but it lacked flavor. The meat tasted a little weird but we were hungry. On my kids birthday it went down. My wife got sick first throwing up on the road getting the inside of my truck and her pants dirty. We pulled over and cleaned it out and headed home to my parents house. A few hours later it got me and I threw up most of the night and it was something I haven't gone through in many years. Be careful when you eat here. The fries were good tho.

I ordered half an order of Nachos with fajitas and it had very little meat. Like very little. And on the bottom it was mostly just beans.

I love this place!!!! I felt very welcomed at the door. And the workers are very nice and helpful. I had a Mexican Philly with everything on it was delicious and had a kick to it overall delicious place to dine in

Burger was juicy, onion rings were very crispy as opposed to the french fries. All lacked flavor. Best tasting soda fountain!

Really nice chill place. Our good veteran friend Johnny brought us for lunch & we all had the enchiladas. Wow. They were delicious! The drinks! I haven’t had TANG in years!! Thanks for letting me walk down memory lane with this.. Definitely coming back with my kids 💛
